I don't come in this blog world much anymore. But when I do, I have been coming here first. I've always found you interesting. After reading this post, I felt moved to point out the simple fact that what you wrote here shows how you have grown - and how you've come to the realization that it is YOU who control your destiny.

It's unfortunate it took until now to realize how critical a man like Lover is for you. A man who is ALWAYS Team Jessica is a diamond. He is rare and he makes you sparkle - he loves you for who you are. And now you know to never take such a man for granted. I know the feeling of being taken for granted...you do not want to do that to someone who cares deeply about YOU.

My biological Father recently passed away. I never really knew him.

I was sad, but after talking it out with a friend, I realized what I was really sad about was the knowledge that I will never really get an answer to why he didn't want to be a part of my life.

I'm a big believer that family is the people who have your back when the sjit hits the fan. It has nothing to do with blood or biology.

I hope your relations goes in whatever direction your heart wants.
